In Need of Worker Shares!

February 16, 2011

We are so excited to serve all of our CSA members this year! If you wanted to be a part of our extended family, but didn’t get your application in on time or couldn’t afford to pay for the membership, now is your chance to get involved!

We are looking for applicants for CSA worker shares. This means that you will come to the farm and help us out in exchange for a free CSA basket. This is a great way to be a part of the growing experience, learn more about the food you eat, and pick your own CSA basket. We are only an hour away from Atlanta and it’s a great way to get out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. You can also get to know your growers better and will enjoy a free lunch on your work days.

To join as a CSA worker, 8 hours of work per week gets you a full CSA basket on the weeks you work and 5 hours of work per week gets you a half share. You will also receive a free half dozen of free-range eggs from the farm and you will be able to pull from our test gardens for your basket! Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our worker share program.

I would love to join as a CSA worker.
I am originally from the Ukraine and grew up tending a family orchard as well as a vegetable garden. Would love to see how things are done here in the US.
    Please e-mail me soon!
