Fromage Blanc from Blue Bird Kitchen

Looking for something quick, easy and super delicious for dessert on a summer night?  A fresh fruit compote with Blue Bird Kitchen Fromage Blanc, a slightly sweet dessert cheese of organic goats milk with no additives or preservatives, is perfect for a light, satisfying finish to any hot weather  meal. Whether served in thin slices on the side or crumbled and whipped into cream to go on top, this lovely cheese complements the flavors of melon, berries, cherries, and other fruits of the season.  A light dusting of nutmeg or sprinkle of ground almonds, et voila! C’est magnifique!

Fromage Blanc will be offered in limited quantities on Wednesday, June 15, at the CSA pickup in Decatur (Burnt Fork BBQ).
