Want to learn more about sustainable farming?Volunteer

  • Join us for a 3 week internship intensive at Wolfscratch Farm where you will learn:
    • Production farming using permaculture design and biodiverse gardening
    • Animal husbandry and food systems, compinvolvedosting, and innovative agricultural techniques
    • Farm-related business development such as organizing and running a CSA, farmers’ market, and selling to restaurants
    • Non-profit start-ups, grant writing, commWorkershareunity building
  • Each internship will include daily field work from 8am-2pm followed by a 2-hour personalized learning intensive workshop with the farm owner and/or farm manager
  • Must have strong work ethic, be eager to learn, and be a motivated team player
  • As an intern, you will have access to a campsite; rustic outdoor kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, hot eye for cooking, prep table, outdoor water and sink; indoor bathroom at the “big” house
  • Internship includes farm food: eggs, veggies, and herbs, as well as some family-style meals prepared for all farm staff
  • There are limited spots available for the 2015 summer season – internship opportunities begin July 1
